The creator of Stoicism. Zeno of Citium. He was born in 335 BCE. In 312 BCE, he attended lectures by Cynic philosophy. A while later, he taught others. His philosophy was about logic, the theory of knowledge, physics, and ethics. "Stoic" means painted porch where Zeno of Citium first taught Stoicism in Athens. Greece. He passed away in 263 BCE. Some other famous Stoic philosophers are Marcus Aurelius and Epictetus.
